  • Where do I start?  Start with our New Student Introduction Package.  This package includes a first time private session to get you familiar with the different equipment and learn more about our various classes.  It also includes one month of unlimited classes so you can try out all of our different class formats to see what is best to help you reach your goals. 
  • How much does it cost?  We have a variety of options for all price ranges.  See our prices page for options on private sessions, mat classes, equipment classes, as well as an unlimited membership.
  • How often should I take classes?  Pilates is safe to do every day.  Most people take a class or session 2-3 times a week which we highly recommend in order to see results.  However, a minimum of 1 class per week is required. With the variety of class formats that we offer, you can meet all of your fitness needs.
  • What is Pilates?  Pilates is an innovative and safe system of over 500 mind-body exercise using a mat and a variety of equipment including Reformer, Tower, Chair, Ladder Barrel and the new CoreAlign.  It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Pilates is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, reduces stress and prevents or rehabilitates injuries. Pilates works several muscle groups simultaneously through smooth, continuous motion, with a particular concentration on strengthening and stabilizing the core (the abdomen, back and pelvic girdle region, sometimes referred to as the "powerhouse").  There is a coordination of breath and movement that makes this a mind body practice. Each class will include all of the movements of the spine that are appropriate for the participants.  The focus is on quality of movement rather than quantity, which makes one feel invigorated rather than exhausted after a session. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body works as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity.  It is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates also improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain.
  •  What should I bring?  We provide all the equipment you will need for class including mats and small towels if you need them.  Feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.
  •  What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in.
