Sabrae is a fitness enthusiast and has participated in a variety of exercise programs and activities including Running and Snow Skiing. That enthusiasm led Sabrae to Pilates in 2012 hoping that exercise would help with her with chronic knee and neck pain. After 3 months of Physical Therapy, Sabrae discovered how Pilates could not only help her recovery but could also be the key to lifelong wellness. Inspired to share her love of Pilates with others, she completed STOTT Reformer training as well as, Balanced Body training in Mat, Reformer, Trapeze Tower, Chair and Barrels. Sabrae loves teaching Pilates that "is designed to give you suppleness, natural grace, and skill that will be unmistakably reflected in the way you walk, in the way you play, and in the way you work." [LS] Pilates Mat Challenge
[LAU] Held at the Laurel Studio in the Cherry Tree Shopping Center. Pilates is a system of movement that focuses on engaging the mind with the body to create exercises that involve the whole body. Every exercise is performed with attention to breath, proper form and efficient movement patterns. Pilates strengthens the core, improves balance, increases coordination and reduces stress. The mat repertoire will challenge you usign body weight and small props. With small class sizes, this mixed level class will offer variations and modifications to suit all levels.
[LS] Mixed Pilates Equipment
[LAU] Held at the Laurel Studio in the Cherry Tree Shopping Center. This class incorporates all things Pilates, often including the reformer, tower, arc barrel, magic circle, and some mat work. Previous Pilates equipment experience suggested.
