Chris Ruane

Chris is a clinical Hanna Somatic Educator and Practitioner, Maryland Certified Massage Therapist, 500 hour yoga and Pilates teacher with over 17 years experience and is currently pursuing a Masters Pilates certification. She considers herself a mood movement detective who's focus is to help you achieve full range of movement in a pain-free body. Her background as an Irish dancer, athlete and musician give her personal insight into the mechanisms of chronic pain and her education and neurophysiology and hands on experience guide her work in creating custom tailored movement and Bodyworks sessions to help you move throughout life pain-free.

Jim Crowder

Jim Crowder, RYT 200, is a Certified Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer with over 20 years’ experience in Group Instruction, Personal Training, and Coaching. He combines his vast experience with an innate sense of bio-mechanics, enabling his students to better understand how their bodies should move into, hold, and move out of each posture more naturally. In addition to teaching Yoga, Jim is also an Executive Health Coach and Motivational Speaker with Workplace Wellness Solutions, offering Health, Fitness, and Wellness services at both the individual and corporate level. Jim’s overarching Goal is to Empower as many people as he can to live Happy, Healthy, and more Fulfilling lives, by giving them the tools they need to improve themselves Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually.

Laura Cannon

Laura Cannon has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation since 2003. She believes that deep healing is possible when we nourish our body, mind, and spirit through the practice of yoga. While she has studied in several styles of yoga, her classes are based in a strong Iyengar foundation and include an emphasis on flowing movement (vinyasa). Laura is currently completing her 200hr RYT through YogaFit. She is also an energy healer and meditation instructor in Ellicott City, MD.
[COL] Held at the Columbia Studio.  Connect your movement with your breath and flow between poses with grace. In this class practice flowing sequences and sun salutations that balance energy and reduce physical and mental stress. Build strength and endurance, increase balance and flexibility.
