Laura Cannon

Laura Cannon has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation since 2003. She believes that deep healing is possible when we nourish our body, mind, and spirit through the practice of yoga. While she has studied in several styles of yoga, her classes are based in a strong Iyengar foundation and include an emphasis on flowing movement (vinyasa). Laura is currently completing her 200hr RYT through YogaFit. She is also an energy healer and meditation instructor in Ellicott City, MD.

Sara Raymond

Sara is the Program Director at Coreworks. Sara is a Comprehensively Certified Pilates instructor and Master Instructor with Balanced Body and has also trained with STOTT Pilates, PHI Pilates and the Pilates Coach. In addition to Pilates, Sara is a CoreAlign Master Instructor and runs the Coreworks Mentor Program.  She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a certified Booty Barre instructor.  Sara has been practicing and studying Pilates and yoga since 2000.  Sara brings the variety in her education background to her teaching style and enjoys working with all levels of students. Additionally, Sara works with individuals and small groups to make changes and improve lives as a hypnosis practitioner and meditation teacher.

Jim Crowder

Jim Crowder, RYT 200, is a Certified Yoga Teacher with over 20 years’ experience in group instruction, personal training, and coaching. He combines his vast experience with an innate sense of biomechanics, enabling his students to better understand how their bodies should move into, hold, and move out of each posture more naturally. Jim’s overarching goal is to continually educate and inspire his students in their quest for physical, emotional, and spiritual self-improvement.

Abril Istre

Abril is a Certified AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. She has over 8 years of experience leading classes of different levels and helping participants achieve their fitness goals. She found Yoga and Pilates in 2004 and has been practicing since then. Through personal injuries she has learned to honor her body, and understands the importance of a mindful and consistent practice. Abril completed the 200hr Yoga Alliance RYT in 2012 and currently teaches Reformer, Pilates Mat, Yoga and Les Mills programs.

Chris Ruane

Chris became a certified Weight Trainer through IWA in 2004. She holds Pilates Mat and Tower Certifications through PHI Pilates and completed her Yoga Teacher Training program in 2007. Teaching since 2005, Chris teaches all levels of Mat, Tower, and Yoga. Chris is also a certified Massage Therapist and practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, and Heated Stone massage.
[COL] Held at the Columbia Studio.  Connect your movement with your breath and flow between poses with grace. In this class practice flowing sequences and sun salutations that balance energy and reduce physical and mental stress. Build strength and endurance, increase balance and flexibility.
